Ressez 9
™
Narrative Universe
Welcome to the Once-Future
what is ressez 9?
Ressez 9™ is an original transmedia intellectual property and science-fantasy narrative universe developed by Studio Parallèle, an epic, retrofuturistic saga rooted in military science fiction.
Set across the fractured realities of a distant future, it explores civilizations shaped by war, memory, myth, and the collapse of reality itself.
Built upon more than twenty years of interconnected worldbuilding, Ressez 9™ is, at its core, a turnkey narrative platform: a unified framework of raw storytelling material from which stories can emerge through film, books, video games, and digital experiences; each revealing a different facet of the same canon.

Humanity once believed it had mastered progress and stability.
Then the Vargarian Regime detonated Oblivion’s Herald: a weapon that destroyed the old world and fractured the hidden structure of reality known as the Prism.
Centuries later, the surface had become an afterworld of ruined cities, distorted landscapes, and impossible phenomena. There, the Ressez Confederation confronted a resurgent enemy and entered the Decennial War, a global conflict of reconquest, survival, and ideological collision.
But the war would not remain bound to one world. As reality continued to fracture, its campaigns expanded beyond land, sea, and sky into unstable dimensions and lost histories, giving rise to epic quests, vanish soldiers, legendary sacrifices, and battles whose consequences would echo across centuries.

NORTHWATCH
Live-action short film / currently in post-production
At the frozen northern edge of Ressez 3, a nameless corporal carries out a forgotten assignment: planting warning beacons across an empty frontier. After years of silence, one signal finally answers—and a Vargarian warship emerges beyond the Arctic veil.
Northwatch is a haunting, atmospheric microfilm about duty, isolation, and the moment a heroic promise collides with the reality of war. Through real landscapes, practical costumes, retrofuturist technology, and memories of a warmer Art Deco world, it brings the universe of Ressez 9 into live action for the first time.
ASSIGNMENT IN LOST REALITIES
Interactive narrative game / currently in conceptual development
The Decennial War did not simply end. Its unfinished fronts, failed offensives, and erased missions continue to survive within realities fractured by the Prism.
In Assignment in Lost Realities, players enlist in the Ressez Confederation’s army, receive propaganda-laced operational briefings, and deploy into compact tactical missions across these unstable war sectors. Each completed assignment generates a mission record preserved within the Eternal Archives; turning the player’s service into an in-world trace of Ressez 9’s expanding history.
In the Lab
Some Ressez 9™ fragments have not yet crossed into our reality. These projects are being developed as future entry points into Ressez 9; built for public activation, collectible publishing, and new creative partnerships.

TALES FROM THE BRAVE FRONTIER!
Diegetic comic anthology / in narrative and visual development
Recovered from the Decennial War (or made to feel that way?) Tales from the Brave Frontier! is a pulp-inspired propaganda comic published from within the Ressez Confederation.
Combining heroic war stories with recruitment advertisements, letters from the front, and fabricated legends, it transforms the mythology of the conflict into a collectible, illustrative gateway to Ressez 9™, designed for serialized publication, direct distribution, and digital release.
- A 28–36-page anthology featuring four to five short stories
- Self-contained missions, recurring heroes, and embellished wartime legends
- Propaganda inserts, morale campaigns, and personal accounts from the front
- A scalable format for future issues, special editions, and collectible artifacts
